About this role
**Opportunity Overview** Handshake is recruiting CAD designers with experience in computer-aided design tools such as LibreCAD, SolveSpace, Rhino3D, and OpenSCAD to contribute to an AI research project. In this project, you’ll apply your expertise to help improve how AI understands real-world professional tasks within your domain, such as 2D drafting, parametric 3D modeling, technical drawings, and design for fabrication. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside your current role. **What You’ll Do** - Use your CAD experience to create tasks that today’s top AI models can’t solve based on real workflows, such as 2D drafting and dimensioning, parametric and constraint-based modeling, scripted solid modeling, assemblies, and export for 3D printing, CNC, or laser cutting - Review and evaluate AI-generated responses - Provide clear, structured written feedback…
